Table Tennis Australia

Diversity data is collected to understand the intersectionality of individuals, composition of a group or organisation and to identify any disparities or under-representation of certain demographic groups. It is used to inform decision-making processes, track progress towards diversity and inclusion goals, and design targeted strategies or interventions to promote equity, diversity and inclusion. By analysing diversity data, Table Tennis Australia can identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to create more inclusive environments and opportunities for all individuals.

As part of our commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion we want to garner a strong understanding of our workforce/participation/athlete composition to ensure we are making informed decisions about the future direction and priorities areas of our work. The information you provide will help us to understand where we are underrepresented, identify our cultural capabilities and ensure our focus is on supporting and sustaining an equitable, diverse and inclusive environment.

TTA handles all personal information in accordance with the TTA Privacy Policy. Although TTA does not currently provide any personal information to external parties and has no intention of providing any personal information to external parties in the future, by ticking the box below, I do not consent to my personal information being provided to any third parties that are not affiliated with TTA, TTA insurers, professional advisers (e.g. accountants, auditors, lawyers, etc.) and relevant sporting bodies (e.g. Australian Sports Commission)

As a member of Table Tennis Australia, you agree to abide by the National Integrity Framework and its core policies, which ensure a safe, fair, and inclusive sport environment. These policies include the:

  • Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy,
  • Member Protection Policy,
  • Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine Policy,
  • Competition Manipulation and Sports Gambling Policy, and the
  • Complaints, Disputes and Discipline Policy.

Table Tennis Tasmania

  • Membership runs for a calendar year only [1 January to 31 December].
  • You must be registered as a member of an affiliated association / club – thus, you cannot seek direct membership of Table Tennis Tasmania (TTT)
  • Upon registration, you become a member of your nominated association / club, which is affliliated with TTT and TTA. Thus, you are bound by the relevant policies of TTA, TTT and your nominated association / club. The TTT policies may be viewed at tttas.org.au

Privacy, Social Media, Photographs and Newsletter

Your personal details are collected and used by STTTA only for official purposes relating to club activities. Your
information will be stored on the revolutioniseSPORT database managed by Table Tennis Australia (TTA) and may be
accessed by authorised members or staff of TTA and Table Tennis Tasmania (TTT). Roster lists are on public display
on the notice board in the table tennis stadium and show your name and phone number. STTTA has a website and
Facebook page, used to provide information and current news and for promotional purposes. Your name and
photograph may be used if you have given permission on page 1 of this form. Photographs may be used if you play in
championships. If you have any concerns about a photo or item we have published, please advise us. The STTTA
Newsletter is the principal means of communication from the club to members. If you opt out of the newsletter
you accept that the club is not responsible for any inconvenience or negative consequences. Correspondence to

Membership

Membership fees cover your state/national levy and include accident insurance. Full membership is compulsory for all
roster and championship players and no discounts apply. Anyone joining for the sole purpose of entering a
championship must pay the full TTT levy ($70) and is not entitled to free practice ($5 session fee payable).
Recreational members play socially, not in official rosters or championships. A discount ($70 for Full and Cadet
Members. $35 for Recreational Members) is available for players who have already paid their TTT levy via another
club. Members must complete this application form and provide proof of registration if requested.

There is a family discount of $20 for subsequent adult family members at same address. It is only applicable for annual recreational membership.

Practice Sessions

All Full and Recreational Members may play socially or practise any time the sports centre is open and the stadium is
not in official use. Members are welcome to bring unregistered guests or family to try out table tennis for a maximum
of three times, after which membership or the session fee is payable. Non-member guests of STTTA pay a $5 session
fee each time they play. Children must be adequately supervised by a responsible adult.

For 2026, the following are the times when the stadium is open for practice sessions

Monday to Friday 9-11am
Saturday 9-12 am
Sunday 9-11 and 2-4.30 pm

Members welcome at other times for their own play, when the centre is open during KSC hours or outside hours if a fob is obtained.

Conditions

  • I agree to be bound by the Constitution and By-Laws of the Southern Tasmanian Table Tennis Association
    Incorporated, Table Tennis Tasmania Incorporated and Table Tennis Australia.
  • I agree to play and umpire in accordance with the ITTF Laws of Table Tennis.
  • I agree to follow STTTA policies and rules, including roster rules.
  • I agree to change (in the stadium) into sports shoes with clean soles to prevent damage to the Taraflex flooring.
  • I will not take food or drinks onto court, will clean the kitchen if I use it and will put litter in the bin or recycling.
  • Whenever I practise, I agree to record my name, membership number and arrival time in the register.
  • I will ensure my children do not enter the office or control booth without permission.
  • I agree not to use the robot unless I have been trained and authorised (unless being supervised by a coach).
  • I will report damage or unacceptable behaviour to a roster coordinator, club official or the KSC front desk.
  • If last out, I will lock the office, turn off lights, and advise KSC front desk that the stadium has been vacated.
