State events

Championships

A wide range of championships are organised each year in Tasmania.

• There are events in each region - at Burnie, Devonport, Launceston, Glenorchy, Montagu Bay and Kingston.
• An inter-branch competition is held at the Launceston Country Casino each June. Each branch enters a junior, senior and veterans team.
• A combined juniors and veterans championship is held in Launceston.

Entry forms are sent by email to registered players who request them.

State Teams

The Table Tennis Australia (TTA) allocates separate inter-state championships each year for Juniors, Seniors and Veterans. Near the start of each year, interested players fill in a nomination form. Selections are based on performances in the lead-up championships.
